Safe Streets Pop-Up Event

 The Ozarks Transportation Organization (OTO) invites the community to join a pop-up event on Monday, October 7th, from 1 PM to 4 PM, as part of its Safe Streets for All initiative, Destination Safe Streets. The event will take place on W Dale St between N Campbell Ave and N Boonville Ave in the Woodland Heights Neighborhood, near 2100 N Boonville Ave, Springfield, MO 65803.

The event will temporarily transform a section of the roadway to demonstrate how simple, low-cost changes can improve safety and accessibility for all users—pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. Community members will have the chance to walk through the demonstration area, see these changes in action, and provide feedback on future street safety improvements.

Forward 44 Public Meeting: Construction of I-44 Widening Project in Springfield

This public meeting will inform the public of upcoming traffic impacts during I-44 construction in Springfield, the contractor’s schedule and provide an overview of the project when completed. The come-and-go style meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, at Crossway Baptist Church, 2900 N Barnes Ave, Springfield, at the east entrance.
