Sunshine Street Corridor Study – Public Open House

The City of Springfield is inviting residents, business owners, and anyone interested to attend a public open house about the Sunshine Street Corridor Study. The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3 at Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church (316 E. Sunshine Street).  

The public is invited to learn about the current state of Sunshine Street—between Glenstone Avenue and Kansas Expressway—and provide feedback. This community input will help guide plans for possible future improvements along the corridor.

A brief staff presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by opportunities for questions, feedback, and discussion at several topic stations. This is a family-friendly event with activities for kids.
