Historic Jefferson Avenue Footbridge Rehabilitation Project – Public Information Session
Following a recent bid process for the Historic Jefferson Avenue Footbridge Rehabilitation Project, the City of Springfield will host a Public Information Session 5-6 p.m., Thursday, May 16 at Victory Mission (1745 N. Boonville Ave.). The information session will provide Commercial Street stakeholders and interested members of the public an opportunity to review rehabilitation options and discuss next steps.
For those unable to attend, a video recording will be available following the meeting on the City’s project webpage at springfieldmo.gov/footbridge. Springfield City Council is expected to hear an update on the rehabilitation project during an upcoming regular Public Works overview Council Lunch presentation scheduled at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 21.
